    PHILIPPI, W.Va. – The No. 6-ranked West Liberty University wrestling hits the road today for its long-awaited season opener in a Mountain East Conference triangular against host Alderson-Broaddus and Glenville State.
    Action gets under way at noon on the floor of Rex Pyles Arena.
    Coach Danny Irwin's nationally-ranked Hilltoppers were installed as preseason favorites in the MEC coaches' preseason poll with a stellar lineup featuring a trio of multi-year NCAA Division II All-Americans – including a pair of former national champions.
    The host Battlers, who were picked fifth in the MEC coaches' poll, are led by 2-time NCAA national qualifier Gino Sita at 184 pounds while Glenville State is making its NCAA Division II mat debut.
