WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to West Virginia Wesleyan Thursday afternoon at the West Liberty Soccer Complex.

Barry Christmas's Hilltoppers (2-6-2, 2-3-1) surrendered a pair of first-half goals and couldn't recover as the Bobcats (8-1-0, 6-0-0) remained unbeaten in Mountain East Conference play.
Wesleyan drew first blood in the 14th minute when Chrystal Posada ran onto a crisp cross from Natalie Prater inside the six and one-timed into the left lower corner of the net.
West Liberty was able to weather more heavy offensive pressure from the visitors for several minutes but the Bobcats' Audrey Barber upped the margin to 2-0 in the 30th minute with a goal off an assist from Makatlyn Tucker.
Tucker wrapped up the scoring with an unassisted insurance goal in the 57th minute.
Wesleyan outshot the Hilltoppers by a 22-6 margin and had a 7-2 edge in corners.
Olivia Montgomery was charted with 7 saves in net for the Black and Gold while Chelsea Hubner and Ashlee Schumacher combined for 3 saves for the Bobcats.
The Hilltoppers will be back in action on Sunday when they host Notre Dame (Ohio) in a 1 p.m. match at the West Liberty Soccer Complex.
