GREENSBURG, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team surrendered a pair of quick goals hereTuesday afternoon and couldn't recover as Seton Hill cruised to a 2-0 victory in a non-conference encounter.
Coach Barry Christmas' Hilltoppers (3-7-3) found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard before the game was two minutes old as Brooke Richtik headed home a corner kick off the foot of Emma Bearinger to give the Griffins (6-6-1) a quick 1-0 lead.
Seton Hill pushed the count to 2-0 in the 10th minute when Emma Porteus finished off an assist in the box from Emily LoPresti and the hosts settled back into a defensive shell, frustrating WLU the rest of the way.
