Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The West Liberty University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Notre Dame (Ohio) in Mountain East Conference action here Wednesday afternoon.
The Falcons (4-1-0, 3-1-0) jumped out to a quick lead when Megan O'Connor headed home a cross from Alexis Manoa in the 10th minute. Manoa tacked on a goal of her own in the 56th minute to account for all of the scoring.
Samantha Shoemaker had 3 saves to earn the win in goal for the hosts. Hannah Judkins was charted with 5 saves in a losing cause for the Hilltoppers (1-3-2, 1-2-1). The West Liberty women return home to host Charleston on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at the West Liberty Soccer Complex.
