Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.

Barry Christmas's Hilltoppers (1-4, 0-2) jumped out to a 1-0 lead when
Keiana Palmer cashed in a feed from
Kylie Woyat in the 29
th minute and the Black and Gold carried that advantage into the second half.
The host Rams (1-2, 1-0) turned the momentum and took control of the game with a three-goal outburst in a six-minute span midway through the second half.
Kasey Canterbury knotted the score at 1 in the 58
th minute with Katie Marchun snapping the deadlock in the 62
nd minute. Taylor Amsley tacked on an insurance goal in the 64
th minute and the Hilltoppers were unable to answer.
West Liberty returns to action on Friday with a 4 p.m. match against Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va.
