Box Score WHEELING, W.Va. – Another strong road effort by West Liberty University's first-year women's soccer team went for naught here Saturday night as Wheeling Jesuit scored a goal in each half to hold off the Hilltoppers, 2-0, under the lights at LaRosa Field.
The Cardinals (3-8-1, 3-4) broke up the scoreless tie late in the first half when Brittany DeCapio cashed in an assist from Erin Sheplavy in the 36
th minute.

Barry Christmas's Hilltoppers (2-9, 1-5) spent most of the second half trying to come up with the equalizer only to see Wheeling Jesuit put the game out of reach with an Allison Geary goal in the 80
th minute.
Rachel Coles had 4 saves in net for West Liberty while Holly Kraus made 2 saves to earn the shutout for the Cardinals.
The Hilltoppers step out of conference play on Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. game at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
