Box Score
BUCKHANNON, W.Va.  – The West Liberty University women's soccer team couldn't get anything going on offense at West Virginia Wesleyan Friday afternoon, coming out of the short end of a 3-0 decision.
Coach Barry Christmas's first-year Hilltoppers (2-13, 1-8) were held without a shot by the veteran Bobcats (9-4-3, 6-2-1) and their well-organized defense.
Jocelyn Prescott, Laura Dalton and Jade Smith each scored goals for the hosts while Cris Eddy chimed in with a pair of assists.
West Liberty keepers Hannah Judkins and Rachel Coles combined for 8 saves but it wasn't enough to keep Wesleyan from locking up the No. 2 seed in next week's WVIAC Tournament.
The Hilltoppers hit the WVIAC road again on Tuesday with a 3 p.m. match at Alderson-Broaddus.
