A rare four-time first-team All-West Virginia Conference selection, Debbie Miller was a dominant performer on the volleyball court from 1981-84.
As a true freshman, the powerful middle hitter played a key role in leading West Liberty to its first WVIAC championship in 1981, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team to go along with the first of her four All-Conference honors.
Miller continued her strong play at the net over the next three seasons, earning two more All-Tournament Team honors and capping a stellar career by being selected as the 1984 WVIAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Year. Miller graduated from West Liberty with a Dental Hygiene degree in 1985 and made that her profession. She remained active in her local community by working with youth volleyball clinics and teams.
