    One of the top wrestlers in school history, Bryan Bunch spent four years rewriting the West Liberty wrestling books for Hall of Fame coach Dr. Vince Monseau. At the time of his induction, Bunch was ranked No. 1 on the Hilltoppers’ career wins list with 123 victories and also held the top spot for most individual team points and most wins by a freshman.
    A 4-year starter and 3-time NAIA All-American, Bunch notched a fourth-place finish as a sophomore at the 1985 NAIA Championships and followed that up with third-place finishes at Nationals in 1986 and 1987. He also wrestled in Europe for an American college all-star team and was a 4-time West Liberty Invitational champion on his way to a career record of 123-16-1 (.882).
    After graduating from West Liberty, the Steubenville, Ohio native worked as a corrections officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He provided armed security and protection for federal buildings in the Kansas City metropolitan area and also worked as a security officer for the Department of Homeland Security.
