CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team saw its season come to an end here Friday afternoon with a 5-1 loss to Charleston in a West Virginia Conference Tournament quarterfinal.

Darren Liebenberg and Alex Hayden put Coach Sam McCullough's Hilltoppers on the board early with an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles but the Golden Eagles posted decisions at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into singles play.

Charleston closed out the match with straight-set wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles.
