HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team dropped only one match in posting a pair of impressive wins at the start of the Hilton Head Spring Break Invitational.
    Coach Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers (16-2) opened with an 8-1 romp against the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) on Sunday before rolling to a 9-0 rout of Kentucky Wesleyan on Monday.
    Lauren Howard, Raissa Wischi, Emily Dawson, Alex Barr and Zineb Houssaini each won both of their singles matches on Monday while the tandems of Howard and Wischi at No. 1, Barr and Houssaini at No. 2 and Christina Pauley and Sarah Howells at No. 3 made a clean sweep of the doubles matches.
    West Liberty was scheduled to return to action on Tuesday with a morning match against Tusculum (Tenn.).
