HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Michigan Tech here Monday morning in the opening match of the Hilton Head (S.C.) Invitational.
Raphael Machado was the only Hilltopper to notch a win, prevailing at No. 2 singles when his opponent retired with Machado holding a 3-2 lead in the opening set.
Coach
Sam McCullough's West Liberty squad will try to get back on track Tuesday morning when they take on Chowan (N.C.).
