WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Logan Jarrett, a state tournament regular from Capital High School in Charleston, W.Va., has signed to play his collegiate tennis at West Liberty University.

“We're pleased to welcome Logan to the Hilltopper tennis family,” said veteran WLU men's tennis coach Sam McCullough. “Logan has competed at a very high level academically and athletically throughout his high school career and will be a positive addition to our tennis program and the university.”

Jarrett was a four-year starter in singles and doubles with the Cougars, one of the Mountain State's traditional powers in the net sport.

He spent one year at No. 3 singles, two years at No. 2 singles and one year at No. 1 singles for Capital and was part of the Cougars' No. 1 doubles tandem all four years.

The newest Hilltopper established himself among the state's top prep performers, qualifying for state tournament competition in each of his four varsity seasons.

Logan is the son of Eric and Kim Jarrett.
